Bo Kaap or Cape Malay Quarter is one of the most scenic places to take a walk in Cape Town. Sample some authentic Cape Malay cuisine at one of the local eateries.

Tasted some great red wines at Topiary in Franschhoek today. Especially liked the 2007 Shiraz and was sorry to have missed the 2009 MCC which is Sold Out! Jacqui Braunlich being warmed from the inside on a rainy Cape day!

I am a tourist guide and tour operator in Cape Town, the most beautiful city in the world. Cape Town is about more than the beauty. It is a lot about the people who have the biggest smiles and a genuine warm and inviting vibe. Cape Town also has a rich culture, an amalgam of the many settlers and inhabitants from Africa, Asia and Europe. The story of our recent history, from apartheid to reconciliation and freedom is a moving story which I love to tell. I was lucky enough to be a journalist during the years of our transformation and witnessed the opening up of this country. Join me on a tour and you will hear lots about this joyous and exciting place.
